Hamas: Terrorist Katz’s statements are embodiment of arrogance and escalation of ethnic cleansing in Gaza

GAZA, Oct. 01 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) issued a fiery statement, on Wednesday, condemning the statements of the so-called Israeli Foreign Minister, Israel Katz, whom it described as a “terrorist.” It considered these statements to be a blatant embodiment of arrogance and disdain for the international community and the principles of international and humanitarian law.

In its statement, the movement indicated that Katz’s statements are nothing more than a prelude to the escalation of war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation army against hundreds of thousands of innocent residents of Gaza City, including women, children, and the elderly.

Hamas affirmed that what the “leaders of the fascist enemy” are committing against the Palestinian people in the Strip constitutes a crime of ethnic cleansing and systematic forced displacement, carried out “brutally and in full view of the entire world.” It emphasized that the fierce Zionist military operation against Gaza City continues, with the bombing of homes over the heads of their residents and the perpetration of massacres.

At the end of the statement, the movement called on the international community and Arab and Islamic countries to take immediate action to stop these serious and unprecedented violations, and demanded that urgent steps be taken to deter the enemy entity from continuing these crimes.
