SANAA, Sept. 30 (YPA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sana’a condemned the move by the so-called European Troika — France, Germany, and Britain — to reimpose sanctions on the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In a statement, the ministry reaffirmed Yemen’s rejection of hostile policies against Iran, stressing that the United States continues to exert all forms of pressure on Tehran.
It held both the Troika states and the US responsible for the potential consequences of reimposing sanctions, warning of an escalation that threatens regional and international security.
The ministry noted that despite Iran’s consistent approach of dialogue and cooperation, Washington and the European Troika have responded with further violations, pressure, and aggression.
It emphasized that renewed sanctions represent further evidence of the arrogance condemned in the Holy Qur’an, while underscoring that policies of coercion and sanctions cannot break the will of free nations.
