Army Controls Strategic Mountain In Jawf

JAWF, July 30 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees controlled on Monday a strategic mountain in Yemen’s northern province of Jawf, a military source told Yemen Press Agency.

The army cleared and controlled al-Luqam mountain in al-Mahashimah area of Khab washaaf district, during a wide-scale offensive on the mountain.

Coalition-backed militiamen carried out an infiltration attempt lasted for five hours to restore the mountain, but the army repelled it despite coalition’s warplanes launched several airstrikes.
