BEIRUT, Sept. 19 (YPA) -Israeli occupation warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes Thursday evening targetigf several towns and villages in southern Lebanon, the National News Agency (NNA) reported.
The agency confirmed that five airstrikes hit Meiss al-Jabal, Kfar Tibnit, Debbin, Borj Qalaouiye and Chehabiyeh without giving details about casualties.
The strike on the town of Borj Qalaouiye hit an empty house, while the raid on Chehabiyeh was accompanied by heavy Israeli drone overflights.
It added that an airstrike on Kfar Tibnit destroyed a building and caused major damage to nearby homes.
The occupation warplanes reportedly fired air-to-surface missiles, triggering a massive explosion that echoed across the Nabatieh region and sent thick plumes of smoke into the sky.
The Israeli occupation army issued evacuation orders for several buildings in southern Lebanon on Thursday evening, displacing civilians from their homes.
