Local official survive Hadramout shooting

HADRAMOUT, Sept. 18 (YPA) – A local official escaped on Wednesday an assassination attempt by unknown gunmen in the coalition-held Hadramout province, in eastern Yemen.

A human rights source said that Salah Amer bin Shamlan, the director of the Amd district, was targeted  after his vehicle came under heavy gunfire in the center of the district.

The source noted that Bin Shamlan was not injured during the attack, while the perpetrators managed to escape to an unknown location.
