17 Palestinians killed Israeli shelling of several areas in Gaza

GAZA, Sept. 17 (YPA) – At least seventeen Palestinian civilians, including seven in Gaza City, have been killed and others injured since dawn on Wednesday in the ongoing Israeli shelling of the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian official news agency WAFA reported, citing medical sources.

According to the medical sources, three members of one family were killed in an Israeli shelling of a displaced persons’ tent in the Mawasi area of ​​Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

A citizen, his pregnant wife, and his daughter were also killed in an Israeli shelling of a house in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. Two other citizens were killed and others injured in an Israeli shelling of an apartment in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

In the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest of Gaza City, a number of citizens were killed and injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Ajur building. Israeli aircraft also bombed a house on the neighborhood’s first street.

Medical sources announced yesterday that 108 people were killed in the Gaza Strip, most of them from the northern part of the Strip (93), in addition to nine from the center and six from the south.
