SANAA, Sept. 16 (YPA) – Yemen’s air defenses have intercepted the Israeli enemy aircraft in the airspaces of Hodeida province, west of Yemen.
Military spokesman for the Sanaa forces, Brigadier General Yahiya Sarie announced in an urgent statement on Tuesday that air defenses caused significant confusion for the fighter jets, forcing some of its combat formations to leave airspace before carrying out their aggression in the country’s depth.
Previously, Sarie had announced that air defenses had intercepted Israeli aircraft launching an attack on Yemen.
According to security sources in Hodeida, the port of Hodeida in western Yemen was subjected to 12 airstrikes by Israeli occupation aircraft.
