Yemeni child killed by UAE military vehicle in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, Sept. 14 (YPA) – A Yemeni girl was killed on Sunday in the city of Ghayl Bawazir, Hadramout province, eastern Yemen, after being run over by a speeding UAE military vehicle.

Activists on social media circulated a shocking video of the incident, showing the military vehicle entering the street at an extremely high speed, hitting the girl, and throwing her a great distance, resulting in her immediate death.

The incident sparked outrage and panic among citizens, who demanded that the driver of the vehicle be held accountable and that the spread of speeding military vehicles in the city’s crowded streets be curbed.

Activists pointed out that hit-and-run incidents caused by military vehicles belonging to UAE-backed factions have become a recurring phenomenon, claiming the lives of innocent civilians without any oversight or accountability.
