Death toll from Israeli aggression in Gaza rises to over 64,000

GAZA, Sept. 11 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Thursday that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, has risen to 64,718, with 163,859 injured.

In its daily statistical report, the ministry stated that hospitals received 72 new deaths and 356 new wounded in the past 24 hours. It confirmed that a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as rescue teams are unable to reach them.

The report added that the number of deaths related to aid has risen to 2,465 and over 17,948 injured, after 9 deaths and 87 wounded from aid-related incidents were brought to hospitals in the last 24 hours.

Hospitals also recorded 7 new deaths due to famine and malnutrition, bringing the total to 411 deaths, including 142 children. Since the declaration of famine, 133 deaths have been recorded, including 27 children.
