Israeli enemy destroys Taiba Tower in Gaza as part of forced displacement policy

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Sept. 10 (YPA) – Israeli enemy forces destroyed the Taiba residential tower west of Gaza Strip, on Wednesday, as part of the Zionist policy of forcibly displacing the besieged Strip’s residents.

A medical source at Al-Shifa Hospital confirmed that two people were killed and others were injured as a result of targeting the Taiba Tower, which faces Gaza Port.

Local sources reported that the tower’s destruction led to the displacement of thousands of residents and displaced persons residing in the building and the surrounding tents.

The sources stated that Israeli warplanes targeted the tower with several missiles shortly after warning its residents to evacuate it, despite the fact that its surroundings contained many displaced persons’ tents, exacerbating the humanitarian tragedy.

They indicated that Palestinians in the tall residential tower rushed to evacuate for fear of bombing, leaving behind their belongings.

Over the past few days, the Israeli enemy has begun destroying dozens of buildings and residential towers in Gaza City, with the aim of forcibly displacing the starving residents of Gaza to the southern part of the Strip.

The war criminal wanted by the International Criminal Court, Benjamin Netanyahu, boasted of destroying more than 50 residential towers in Gaza in two days.
