Palestinian resistance carries out military operation against Israeli tanker crew in Gaza

GAZA, Sept. 08 (YPA) – The Palestinian resistance carried out, on Monday, a qualitative operation in the northern Gaza Strip, targeting an Israeli armored personnel carrier that was stationed in a fixed position during sweep operations.

According to Hebrew media, a resistance fighter managed to infiltrate the vicinity of the tanker and shoot directly at its driver, before opening the cockpit door and throwing an explosive device inside, before withdrawing from the site safely.

The explosion of the explosive device led to the death and injury of a number of Israeli soldiers and officers who were on board the tanker.

For its part, Hebrew media confirmed that four Israeli occupation army personnel were killed in the operation, including officers, noting that the entire tank crew was killed in the explosion.

They added that another soldier was wounded, suggesting that his injury was likely the result of friendly fire during the exchange of fire at the site.

This operation is considered one of the most precise direct attacks in recent days, as the resistance fighter was able to carry it out in the heart of an area controlled by the occupation army, which was considered a painful blow to the Israeli military system in the Strip.
