Observers warns of economic crisis repercussions on conditions in military camps

ADEN, Sept. 07 (YPA) – Pro-coalition military observers have revealed shocking information about the Islah party, amid reports of an imminent explosion at the military camps of its affiliated factions.

They emphasized that the continued suspension of salary payments to the factions for the fourth consecutive month without urgent solutions from the Aden government would portend an armed rebellion due to deteriorating living conditions.

The observers warned against the government and the coalition’s disregard for their suffering, which coincides with a wave of exorbitant inflation and a stifling crisis across various sectors.

The observers indicated, according to reports by some pro-coalition media outlets, that the factions were facing the risk of spiraling out of control, with recruits demanding that their financial dues be paid in one lump sum without delay, while many could meet their families’ basic needs.

They reported that the coalition and its affiliated government were in the process of dismissing most of the Islah-aligned recruits and removing their names from the financial records of the government’s so-called “Ministry of Defense,” considering most of them to be fictitious.

The observers explained that these measures were part of the economic reforms being implemented by Prime Minister Salem bin Braik.

They noted the escalating discontent and anger, warning of the crisis’s repercussions on conditions in the camps. The Aden government has yet to provide any explanation for the delay, while UAE-backed Tariq Saleh’s factions and the Southern Transitional Council continuing to receive their dues on a regular basis.
