GAZA, Sept. 06 (YPA) – Seven Palestinian citizens, including aid-seekers, were killed and others were injured, on Saturday morning, by Israeli enemy fire and shelling of Gaza City and Khan Yunis.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), medical sources reported that a child was killed by enemy artillery shelling of the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City, and an elderly man was killed by enemy fire in the Al-Mawasi area southwest of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
The same sources explained that two martyrs were killed and about 17 others were injured as a result of enemy shelling of civilian gatherings at a humanitarian aid distribution point south of Wadi Gaza in the central Gaza Strip.
Three citizens waiting for aid were also killed by enemy fire near an aid center southwest of Khan Yunis.
The Israeli enemy forces have continued their aggression on the Gaza Strip by land, sea, and air since October 7, 2023, resulting in the death of 64,300 citizens, the majority of whom are women and children, and the injury of 162,005 others, in a preliminary toll.
Thousands of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, and ambulance and rescue crews are unable to reach them, the sources added.
