OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Sept. 02 (YPA) – The Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission confirmed, on Tuesday, that the Israeli enemy army and Zionist settlers carried out 1,613 attacks in the West Bank in occupied Palestine during August.
In a statement, the commission said that the Israeli enemy army carried out 1,182 attacks during that period, while settlers committed 431 attacks.
The attacks varied between armed attacks on Palestinian villages, imposing facts on the ground, field executions, vandalism, land leveling, and uprooting trees, according to the commission.
The attacks also included the seizure of Palestinian property, the implementation of closures, and the erection of checkpoints that sever the Palestinian geography.
The statement quoted the head of the commission, Mu’ayyad Shaaban, as saying that settlers had established 18 new outposts since the beginning of August, most of which were agricultural and pastoral.
Shaaban stated that during the same period, the Israeli occupation authorities carried out 57 demolitions, affecting 125 facilities, including 39 homes, 52 agricultural facilities, and 20 livelihood facilities, among others. They also distributed 21 demolition notices for Palestinian facilities.
