Hamas: Israeli occupation is committing crimes of genocide in Gaza with American support and international silence

GAZA, Sept. 02 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) accused the Israeli occupation army, on Tuesday, of committing systematic war crimes by destroying entire residential neighborhoods in Gaza City, describing what is happening as an unprecedented violation of international and humanitarian laws.

In a press statement, the movement said that “Benjamin Netanyahu’s government is waging an open war against defenseless civilians, as part of a criminal scheme aimed at carrying out genocide and forced displacement,” stressing that these actions constitute “war crimes that require urgent intervention by the UN Security Council to impose a halt to the aggression and hold those responsible accountable.”

The statement added that the US administration bears direct responsibility for these crimes, as it is an actual partner in the aggression in a crime that history will not forgive against humanity, and everyone involved will pay the price, no matter how long it takes.

At the end of its statement, Hamas called on Arab and Islamic countries, as well as the free people of the world, to take effective and immediate action to stop the massacres in Gaza and confront the occupation’s projects that threaten the security and stability of the entire region.
