Coast Guard Service head inspects 2 sea ports in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, July 29 (YPA) – Head of the Coast Guard Service Major General Abdul Razak al-Muaed on Sunday inspected the workflow in the two sea ports of Khouba and Louhia in Hodeidah province.

During this inspection visit al-Muaed meet with the security department in the port of Khouba and discussed with them means to enhance procedures of struggling against smugglers.

Al-Muaed directed to coordinate with all concerned authorities in struggling against smuggling food and oil from Yemen to the African horn area.

He stressed on the importance of raising security readiness level to prevent smuggling drugs to Yemen and to make more efforts to develop the mechanisms of the collect the taxes.

During his visit to Louhai port al-Muaed discussed with specialists means to develop the security performance and the nature of the difficulties and mechanism to overtake it.
