DHAMAR, July 29 (YPA) – The Yemeni seismic monitoring stations recorded a strong seismic event on Tuesday, the second time in the central Red Sea.
Engineer Mohammed Hussein Al-Houthi, head of the Earthquake and Volcano Monitoring and Study Center in Dhamar province, confirmed that monitoring stations recorded seismic events for the second time on the same day in the Red Sea, with magnitudes ranging from 3.8 to 5.3 on the Richter scale.


In a post on his social media page, Al-Houthi indicated that monitoring stations recorded seven seismic events in the Red Sea, ranging in magnitude from 3.9 to 4.5 on the Richter scale.
The engineer did not mention any repercussions of the seismic events witnessed in the Red Sea on the internal seismic situation in Yemen’s regions.
