Two people killed in Shabwa clashes

SHABWA, July 20 (YPA) – Two people were killed and two others wounded armed clashes in Al-Said district of Shabwa province.

Local sources said that the clashes happened among the members of al-Tawasel tribe in Al-Mosina’a area, due to a dispute over a plot of agricultural land.

Medium weapons were used during the clash, which lasted for several hours.

Shabwa has been witnessed continued tribal conflicts in recent months, with the provinces courts registering more than 30 blood feud cases since the beginning of the year.
