UN calls for investigation into Israeli violations in West Bank

NEW YORK, July 16 (YPA) – The United Nations called for a comprehensive, independent, and transparent investigation into all violations of international law in the West Bank.

This came at a press conference held by UN Spokesperson Stephane Dujarric tonight.

He pointed out that there has recently been an increase in attacks by colonists, under the protection of the Israeli occupation army, on Palestinian lands in the West Bank, resulting in the killing of a number of citizens.

He called on the occupation authorities to “immediately halt the killings, harassment, and home demolitions in the Palestinian territories.”
