Palestinian NGOs Network: 200 cases of malnutrition among children are daily recorded in Gaza

GAZA, July 15 (YPA) – Amjad Shawa, the director of the Palestinian NGOs Network, said on Tuesday that 200 cases of malnutrition are being recorded daily in the Gaza Strip.

“It is a dangerous indicator if humanitarian aid and nutritional supplements are not allowed in,” he warned.

Shawa further warned of a serious deterioration in the condition of malnourished children, highlighting the growing risk of a large outbreak of diseases among displaced populations—particularly children—due to weakened immune systems and the accumulation of waste.

Since March, Israeli occupation authorities have blocked the entry of food and other vital supplies into Gaza for over two months, leading to warnings of famine across a territory devastated by Israeli bombing since October 7, 2023.
