QUDS, July 10 (YPA) – Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied al-Quds city (Jerusalem)on Thursday, under the protection of Israeli forces, according to local Palestinian sources.
Entering Al-Aqsa in groups, the settlers conducted provocative tours of the mosque compound and performed Talmudic rituals.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces reportedly tightened restrictions on Palestinian worshippers attempting to enter the mosque, withholding their ID cards at the gates.
In recent days, Palestinian groups have intensified calls for mass mobilization and presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque to confront Israeli plans and settler groups seeking to impose full control over the site and advance efforts to demolish the mosque and build the so-called “Third Temple” in its place.
