Zionist soldier who fought in Gaza commits suicide

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, July 10 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation military on late Wednesday announced the death of one of its soldiers, who was found dead at a base in southern “Israel”, in what appears to be an incident of suspected suicide, according to Hebrew media.

An investigation has been opened into the circumstances, the findings of which will be sent to the Military Advocate General for review, the occupation army said, without giving further details.

The occupation army also commented on claims that the soldier was interrogated by Military Police shortly before his death, saying that the investigation was unrelated to an “operational incident.”

Hebrew media outlet” Walla” had previously reported that soldier Daniel Edri took his own life last Saturday in the Biriya Forest, near the city of Safad.

According to the report, the soldier suffered from constantly remembering the sights and smells in he had witnessed during his military service in Gaza.

Meanwhile, the Rehabilitation Department of Israel’s Defense Ministry reported that it has received around 19,000 wounded soldiers since the war began on October 7, with approximately 10,000 suffering from psychological trauma or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
