OCCUPIED QUDS, July 06 (YPA) – An Israeli reserve soldier committed suicide last night by setting himself on fire inside his vehicle near the city of Safed in northern occupied Palestine.
The soldier committed suicide after suffering from severe psychological distress following his participation in the recent fighting in the Gaza Strip, in an incident that reflects the escalating psychological crisis among Israeli occupation soldiers.
According to the Hebrew website Walla, the soldier, Daniel Edri, worked in a unit specializing in transporting bodies. He had previously been classified by the army as “mentally disabled” due to severe psychological distress he had suffered since his return from the Gaza front.
