GAZA, July 04 (YPA) – At least three Israeli soldiers were killed and several others wounded on Friday during a series of ambushes by Palestinian resistance factions in the Gaza Strip, amid continued resistance to Israeli ground incursions
According to Hebrew media reports, two soldiers from the Golani Brigade were killed after an anti-tank missile struck their tank in the southern city of Khan Younis.
The recovery operation for the bodies and wounded personnel reportedly took five hours due to the intensity of the fighting.
Reports emerged early Friday of a serious security incident in Khan Younis that lasted several hours and included Israeli helicopter strikes.
Additionally, the Israeli army confirmed the death of a soldier during clashes in the northern Gaza Strip, following reports of another security event in Beit Hanoun.
The situation in Gaza is witnessing a major escalation with the continued resistance attacks on the advancing Israeli occupation forces through ground ambushes and intensive shelling.
