3.1-magnitude earthquake hits Gulf of Aden

AEDN, June 25 (YPA) – A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck the western Gulf of Aden, south of Yemen.

The center’s head, Eng. Mohammed Hussein Al-Houthi, confirmed that the first earthquake hitthe area at 4:39 p.m. on Tuesday.

Al-Houthi reported that the center’s stations recorded a subsequent tremor of magnitude 3.1 at 4:48 p.m. in the Red Sea, according to 26 September Net, noting that the third earthquake was 3.0 magnitude and occurred at 1:22 a.m. in the Red Sea.
