One killed, another injured in armed clashes in Shabwa

SHABWA, June 25 (YPA) – A young man was killed and another was injured in armed clashes that broke out in the Hatib district, southwest of Shabwa governorate, which has been under the control of Emirati factions since 2016.

Tribal sources reported that the clashes broke out between tribal gunmen from the “Al Shams” tribe in the Amhdan area of ​​Hatib, resulting in the death of Rabi’ Ruwais bin Dimeh Al-Rubaizi” and the injury of another.

The sources attributed the clashes between members of the tribe to previous disputes resulting from an old blood feud between members of the tribe and the absence of state authorities in Shabwa districts.
