China strongly condemns US attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities

BEIJING, June 22 (YPA) – China strongly condemned on Sunday the US airstrikes targeting Iranian nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, which are under International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) supervision.

In a statement issued today, the Chinese Foreign Ministry warned of the repercussions of this escalation on regional security and stability.

It stated that the US strikes violate the UN Charter and international law, increasing tensions in the Middle East. It noted that the targeted facilities are under international supervision, making the attack a challenge to international legitimacy and nuclear nonproliferation efforts.

The ministry reiterated its call on all parties, especially “Israel,” to immediately cease hostilities and return to dialogue to find a peaceful solution. It also affirmed its readiness to cooperate with the international community to restore peace and stability in the region.
