Hundreds in Stockholm rally to protest against Israeli massacres in Gaza

STOCKHOLM, June 21 (YPA) – Hundreds demonstrated staged on Saturday a protest rally in the Swedish capital, Stockholm, to denounce the Israeli massacres against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

In the rally, the demonstrators gathered in Odenplan Square, responding to a call from civil society organizations, to demand an immediate end to Israeli war crimes in the Strip.

The participants carried Palestinian flags, pictures of children killed in Israeli attacks, holding banners under the name of “Stop the genocide Zionist entity’s committing the in Palestine.”

Since October 7, 2023, the US support-backed the Israeli occupation has been committing genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement, ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt it.

The genocide has left more than 187,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, while hundreds of thousands have been displaced, and famine has claimed the lives of many, including children, as well as widespread destruction.
