Tens of thousands in Iran protest against Israeli aggression

TEHRAN, June 20 (YPA) – Tens of thousands of Iranian people held on Friday protest rallies in the capital Tehran and several Iranian cities against the Israeli aggression on their country.

The participants gathered on the campus of Tehran University after Friday prayers and chanted slogans against the Israeli occupation and the United States, carrying banners expressing support for the Iranian army.

Since June 13, the US-supported occupation has been launching an aggression against Iran, targeting nuclear facilities, missile bases, military leaders, and nuclear scientists. Tehran responded by launching ballistic missiles and drones into Israeli targets in of Palestine’s territories, in the largest direct confrontation between the two sides.
