Al-Qassam Brigades target Israeli military bulldozer south of Khan Yunis

GAZA, June 18 (YPA) – The Izz ad-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced on Wednesday that it had successfully targeted on Tuesday afternoon an Israeli D9 bulldozer with a tandem guided missile in the Joura al-Lut area, south of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

The Brigades stated in a statement that two Israeli soldiers were on the bulldozer at the time of the attack, without specifying their exact fate.

The statement added that the operation came as part of confronting the ongoing Zionist aggression against Palestinian people and as a confirmation of the continuation of the resistance in all areas of engagement.

This type of operation represents a significant development in field resistance tactics, particularly in light of the intense overflights by reconnaissance and warplanes and the Israeli occupation’s attempts to advance in some border areas south of the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation forces have not yet commented on the incident or any potential losses.
