Iran’s top commander urges residents in ‘Tel Aviv and Haifa’ to evacuate
TEHRAN, June 18 (YPA) -Iran’s armed forces Chief of Staff Abdolrahim Mousavi urged the residents of the occupied territories, especially “Tel Aviv” and Haifa, to evacuate, warning of imminent “punitive” attacks, according to Tasnim news agency.
In a video message released on Tuesday night, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi warned the Zionist regime to brace itself for a punishment for its act of aggression against Iran.
“The Zionist regime, in an act of aggression disguised as military goals, has attacked the people of Iran—women, children and the elderly. Ignoring all recognized international laws, and continuing the killing of some 300 journalists in Gaza and Lebanon, it has now launched a savage assault on the media professionals of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting to silence the voice of truth,” Mousavi said.
He added, ” The great nation of Iran, as history shows, has never bowed to any aggression, and, while standing firm against this savage act, will make the Zionist regime pay for its crimes, God willing.”
“By God’s power, the martyrdom of our dear compatriots, scientists and commanders of the armed forces will only strengthen our resolve to carry out a punishing reprisal.”
He noted that the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force and the Air Defense Base, which have been serving in the front line, have been assisted by the other Armed Forces in the Army, the IRGC and the Police and also by the Intelligence Ministry to fight off the enemy and have dealt severe blows to the Zionist regime by focusing on critical and vital targets.
He said that the military operations that Iran has carried out so far were only warnings with the purpose of deterrence, stressing that the punitive operations against the Zionist regime will kick off soon.
He also issued an evacuation warning, calling on the residents of the occupied Palestinian territories, particularly the people in Tel Aviv and Haifa, to leave those regions to save their lives and not sacrifice themselves for the animal desires of Benjamin Netanyahu.
