Iran’s air defenses shoot down Israeli F-35 fighter jet

TEHRAN, June 16 (YPA) – Iran’s army declared its air defenses had shot down an Israeli F-35 fighter jet on Monday in Tabriz, west of East Azerbaijan Province, northwestern Iran.

Tasnim News Agency said that this aircraft was the fourth of F-35 fighter jet to be shot down by Iranian air defenses.

Brigadier General Alireza Sabahi Fard, a commander of the Iranian army’s air defense forces, had announced the downing of ten Israeli aircraft in various parts of the country.
