Protests erupt in global cities against ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza

WORLD, June 15 (YPA) – Several cities and world capitals witnessed massive demonstrations on Saturday in protest of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, with widespread calls for an immediate ceasefire and urgent delivery of humanitarian aid.

Thousands of protesters took to the streets in the cities of Paris, Madrid, Berlin, Brussels and Manchester, waving Palestinian flags and holding banners condemning the Israeli occupation’s crimes against civilians in Gaza — especially women and children.

They expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people and emphasized the urgent need to end what they described as an ongoing genocide lasting more than eight months.

Protesters called for an end to double standards in dealing with human rights and demanded that Israel be held accountable in international courts for its repeated violations of international law and war crimes committed in Gaza.

These demonstrations come amid growing global outrage over the continued massacres and the obstruction of humanitarian aid into the besieged Strip, as the United Nations continues to warn of an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.
