TEHRAN, June 14 (YPA) – Iran has reportedly launched dozens of missiles in yet another fresh retaliatory attack on Israeli targets, amid a state of high alert, according to Israeli media reports.
Iranian state television announced the beginning of a new round of strikes under the operation dubbed “True Promise 3.”
According to Israel’s Home Front Command, the sixth wave of Iranian missile attacks struck multiple locations across the country.
Israeli authorities confirmed two fatalities and around 40 injuries in the city of Rishon LeZion, located in central “Israel”.
This brings the official death toll from the Iranian attacks to three, as acknowledged by the Israeli occupation military, with dozens more injured—some in critical condition.
Multiple Hebrew-language media outlets have reported significant concern for individuals believed to be trapped under rubble, noting that 10 firefighting and rescue teams were operating in the affected area.
Hebrew media also reported extensive damage in central “Israel” as a result of the latest Iranian missile salvo.
Russia’s TASS news agency stated that Iran’s strikes, which came in retaliation for Israeli attacks launched early Friday, hit over 150 targets.
According to the agency, the Iranian missiles struck Israeli airbases housing F-35, F-16, and F-15 fighter jets.
