FM strongly condemns Zionist aggression against Iran
SANAA, June 13 (YPA) – The Sanaa-based Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned on Friday the Zionist aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In a statement, the ministry considered this aggression a blatant and flagrant violation of the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in contravention of the United Nations Charter and all international conventions and laws.
“The Zionist entity seeks to drag the entire region into a regional war and undermine efforts to achieve peace there,” the statement said, emphasizing confidence in Iran’s ability to respond and teach the Zionist entity an unforgettable lesson.
It added that the Zionist aggression against Iran attributed to Iran’s stances in support of Islamic issues, especially the legitimate Palestinian cause, affirming Iran’s right to the peaceful use of nuclear energy and praised Iran’s constructive approach on this issue.
The statement noted that the United States of America gave the usurping Zionist entity the green light to launch its brutal aggression against Iran by the intelligence and logistical support.
It called on the international community, particularly the Security Council, to condemn the brutal Zionist aggression and rein in the usurping entity that threatens international peace and security.
The Ministry’s statement expressed the solidarity of Yemen, its leadership, government, and people, with the Islamic Republic of Iran, affirming its right to self-defense and respond to the Zionist aggression.
