Transport minister warns “Israel”: ‘Prepare for retaliation’

SANAA, May 31 (YPA) – The Yemeni Transport Minister Mohammed Ayash Quhim, confirmed that the Israeli enemy should prepare for the Yemeni retaliatory strikes.

In his statement, Quhim emphasized that the ministry’s support for the Palestinian people is rooted in divine will, leadership directives, and the collective resolve of all Yemenis who stand with those defending Al-Quds.

He noted that the ministry is executing emergency plans based on the leader’s instructions, stressing that “those who support Israel and betray the Islamic nation are accelerating their own downfall.”

He added that the leader had previously warned of a broader scheme targeting the entire region.

Quhim further stated that the ministry managed to resume airport operations in under a week while also restoring activities at the ports of Hodeida and Al-Salif. He highlighted that Israeli ships have been prevented from passing through the Red Sea, with field teams working tirelessly on the ground.
