Salvation govt launches initiative for the Yemeni citizens

SANAA, July 26 (YPA) – The National Salvation Government in Sanaa on Wednesday launched an additional initiative to the initiative of the revolutionary leader Seyyed  Abdulmalik al-Houthi to allow the United Nations to participate logistically and technically in the port of Hodeidah in exchange for staff salaries.

This initiative called on the United Nations to form a neutral technical team to deal with foreign exchange rates, familiar sources with the issue said

They confirmed that the move came in order to avert citizens the effects of economic decline that added more burdens resulting from monetary instability

“In the light of the intransigence of leaders loyal to the coalition Saudi-led and their insistence on bargaining and manipulating the livelihood of the citizens by destroying the national economy by printing the currency without monetary cover,” the sources said.

They added that the political leadership in Sanaa is keen to neutralize the economic paper away from the current conflict, to spare citizens the ravages of economic status and to worsen the living situation.

The so-called Bin Dager’s authority has not paid staff since the central bank was relocated from Sana’a, although the bank in Sana’a continued to pay the salaries of all Yemenis without discrimination before the bank being transferred in September 2016.
