Al-Qassam Brigades release details of complex operation against Israeli forces in Khan Younis

GAZA, May 25 (YPA) – The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced details of a complex operation carried out against an Israeli force east of the town of al-Qarara, near Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

“After returning from the battle lines, our fighters confirmed carrying out a complex operation targeting an “Israeli” army force entrenched inside a house east of the town of Al-Qarara, east of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, ” the group said in a statement.

“Our fighters detonated several high-explosive devices at the house, killing and wounding enemy soldiers after the house collapsed,” the statement read.

Al-Qassam fighters also detonated a tunnel entrance on a number of soldiers who arrived at the scene and clashed against them using light weapons, according to the statement.

“Our fighters monitored the landing of a helicopter for evacuation, on the morning of Tuesday, May 20, 2025,” the group added.

The al-Qassam Brigades and other resistance factions continue to confront Israeli forces advancing into most of Rafah city and other areas across the Gaza Strip, particularly in the eastern regions.
