Minister of Culture in Sanaa affirms: Unity has eliminated all delusional schemes

SANAA, May 20 (YPA) – Minister of Culture and Tourism Dr. Ali Al-Yafei affirmed that unity was once a dream, but has now become the destiny and fate of all Yemenis, adding that it has put an end to all illusionary projects once and for all.

His remarks coincided with the launch of festivities, artistic performances, and displays of Yemeni folklore marking the 35th anniversary of Yemeni Unity Day, which is observed on May 22 of every year.

These events are held under the patronage of the Minister of Culture and Tourism, with support from the Heritage and Cultural Development Fund, which works to revive various cultural and heritage-related activities.

This morning, the military parade unit held a march from Al-Zubairi Street to Al-Tahrir Square in Sana’a.

Following the march, traditional dances were performed with the participation of the military music band, which played musical pieces that were well-received and enthusiastically applauded by the audience.
