Israeli occupation forces continue their onslaught on Gaza Strip

GAZA, May 17 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces continued their aggression on the Gaza Strip Saturday, marking the 61st consecutive day since the occupation broke the ceasefire .

This comes especially after yesterday’s massacres in several northern Gaza areas, including Al-Sultan in Beit Lahia, Tal al-Zaatar, and Jabalia, which resulted in the martyrdom of 112 Palestinians.

Palestinian sources reported that Israeli military vehicles advanced towards southeast of Deir al-Balah, in the Abu al-Ajeen area, amid mass displacement of Palestinian civilians from the area due to its danger and the ongoing gunfire.

According to the sources,  several were injured in Zionist  airstrikes on a tent housing displaced persons near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city of Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip.

Ashraf al-Ramahi was killed by an Israeli drone strike in the Abu al-Ajeen area, east of Deir al-Balah.

Israeli occupation forces carried out heavy gunfire and artillery shelling southeast of Deir al-Balah, with a limited advance and additional fire reported east of Al-Maghazi camp, the sources added

In southern Gaza, three civilians were killed in an airstrike on an apartment in Hamad City, north of Khan Younis.

In northern Gaza, Israeli occupation  forces detonated a booby-trapped robot east of Tel al-Zaatar in Jabalia camp, killing three people.

Several others were reported missing after an airstrike on the Abu Aoun family’s home in the same area, raising the death toll in northern Gaza to 112 over the past 24 hours.
