Sanaa’s Foreign Ministry: Response to Zionist aggression on Yemeni ports will be painful

SANAA, May 16 (YPA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the Sanaa government said on Friday that “the repeated Zionist aggression against Yemeni ports will be met with a painful response.”

In a statement issued this evening, the ministry affirmed that the Zionist aggression represents a blatant violation of Yemen’s sovereignty, the United Nations Charter, and all international norms, covenants, and laws.

The ministry considered the repeated targeting of Yemeni ports to be evidence of the Zionist entity’s abject failure to achieve its goals in Yemen and an attempt to seek illusory achievements after its image has been shattered in the eyes of everyone.

The statement condemned the international community’s complete silence regarding the Zionist aggression against Yemen, noting that this has encouraged it to continue destroying the resources of the Yemeni people.

The ministry called on the Arab Summit, which will convene tomorrow in Baghdad, to adopt a strong Arab position in support of the Palestinian people, against whom the most heinous crimes of genocide, unprecedented in history, are being committed.

The statement reiterated the Republic of Yemen’s continued support for Gaza by banning maritime and air navigation to the usurping Zionist entity until it ends its aggression and siege imposed on Gaza.
