Yemen witnesses major demonstrations in support of Gaza

SANAA, May 16 (YPA) – Millions of Yemenis participated on Friday afternoon in unprecedented, widespread demonstrations in Sanaa’s Al-Sabeen Square and other public squares across the country in support of the Palestinian people under the slogan “With Gaza… to confront genocide and starvation.”

Participants raised Yemeni and Palestinian flags and chanted slogans calling for freedom and criticizing American policies, along with banners expressing solidarity with the Palestinians and condemning the Zionist aggression and massacres.

The demonstrators praised the operations carried out by the Yemeni armed forces this week, targeting Lod Airport with hypersonic missiles. They called for an escalation of operations until the aggression and siege on Gaza end.

The demonstrators denounced Arab inaction regarding the suffering of the people of Gaza, who are facing death by starvation and thirst, while trillions of dollars are spent supporting Trump, a partner in the war against the people of the besieged Strip.
