SANAA, May 07 (YPA) – Sanaa-based Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Quhim, said that technical and engineering efforts are continuing to restore services in Sanaa International Airport and the port of Hodeida after Israeli enemy’s aggression.
In a statement, the minister explained that specialized technical teams have begun implementing restoration and rehabilitation work on the damaged facilities, leveraging the accumulated experience and high proficiency of airport and port personnel in the fields of air and maritime navigation.
He emphasized that the facilities would return as soon as possible to provide their humanitarian and commercial services.
“The Israeli aggression’s attempts to paralyze air and sea traffic have failed and the steadfastness of national cadres who have not stopped performing their duties despite the exceptional circumstances.” Quhim added.
He noted that the Israeli aggression suffered a disastrous failure in achieving its goals, whether on the military, economic, or media levels.
Minister Quhim considered the targeting of civilian facilities to be evidence of the enemy’s criminal nature and demonstrated its bankruptcy on the ground, stressing that Yemen will continue to develop its capabilities in the fields of transportation and navigation, regardless of the challenges.
