SANAA, May 06 (YPA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the Sanaa government condemned on Tuesday in the strongest terms the Zionist attacks against civilian facilities in Yemen, stressing that “this aggression will not go unpunished.”
The ministry affirmed in a statement issued this evening that the Zionist aggression against civilian facilities represents a clear violation of Yemen’s sovereignty, security, stability, and territorial integrity, in addition to its violation of the United Nations Charter and international law.
The statement indicated that the targeting of civilian facilities is an evidence of the Zionist entity’s failure to achieve any of its goals in Yemen and its attempt to create the illusion of victory.
The statement indicated that the ministry had previously submitted to the UN Resident Coordinator and the International Committee of the Red Cross a list of coordinates related to civilian facilities, including sites targeted by the Zionist entity.
The ministry called on the international community, led by the Security Council, to condemn this blatant aggression and work to stop the Zionist violations in Yemen and the crimes committed in Gaza, given their negative impact on security and stability in the region and the world.
The statement reiterated that “such attacks will only strengthen the Yemeni people’s resolve and determination to support Gaza and the Palestinian people by all possible means until the aggression and blockade imposed on them by the occupying Zionist entity are ended.”
