US conducts new wave of airstrikes on Yemen

PEOVINCES, May 04 (YPA) – The US aggression launched a series of raids at dawn on Sunday on the governorates of Saada, Hodeida, Marib and Jawf, in support of the Zionist entity and its ongoing genocidal war against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

According to security forces, the US aggression targeted eight airstrikes on Takhyah area in Majz district and three airstrikes on Sahar district.

In the coastal province of Hodeida, the US aircraft once again targeted Ras Issa Port with two airstrikes.

In Marib province, 13 American airstrikes were carried out on Majzar District.

Meanwhile, 10  airstrikes targeted Al-Hazm District in Al-Jawf province.

On Saturday night, the US also struck Kamaran Island with two airstrikes and Al-Salif District in Hodeida with one airstrike. Additional strikes were reported on Madghal District in Marib.

These attacks come as part of the ongoing US aggression against the Yemeni people since mid-March, aimed at pressuring Sana’a to abandon its stance in support of the Palestinian people,who are enduring a Zionist genocidal war in the besieged Gaza Strip.
