Southern military expert accuses STC of being behind crisis in Aden

ADEN, April 27 (YPA) – Southern military expert Khaled Al-Nassi on Sunday launched a sharp attack on the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC), holding it fully responsible for the deterioration of basic services—especially electricity—in Aden and other southern provinces.

In a post on ” X”, Al-Nassi stated that the government loyal to Saudi-led coalition has turned people’s lives into a hell.

He emphasized that the STC, as a partner in the pro-coalition government and a representative of the people, bears direct responsibility for the current situation.

Al-Nassi urged the STC to abandon hollow slogans and unrealistic promises, warning that they offer no real hope of improvement anytime soon.

He criticized the Presidential Leadership Council, headed by Rashad Al-Alimi, saying it has offered nothing but “travel, congratulations, and condolences.”

Al-Nassi went further, stating that the continued existence of the Presidential Leadership Council and the current government poses a serious threat to the lives and rights of people in Aden and the southern provinces.

He accused pro-coalition Prime Minister Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak of still operating with the same mindset as the 2011 youth revolution camp in Sana’a, which was affiliated with the Islah party.

Al-Nassi also accused Bin Mubarak of paralyzing daily life and fueling corruption, describing his ministers as incompetent and the most corrupt, without exempting any of them from spreading poverty and hunger among citizens.
