STC admits to falling into political, military deception

ADEN, April 22 (YPA) -The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) claimed on Monday that a major deception has had a negative impact on residents of the southern provinces which are under the control of the Saudi-led coalition.

STC Presidency member Fadl al-Jaadi stated: “We are fully aware of the political deception and cunning schemes being employed against our people’s free will through various means – political, military, and service-related.”

This remark appeared to reference the STC’s controversial alliance with the so-called “7/7 gang” from the Islah and General People’s Congress parties, which are aligned with the Saudi-led coalition.

Al-Jaadi further stated in a post on X: “These agendas aim to exhaust citizens and politically demoralize them, with the goal of diverting the Southern Cause from its path and stripping it of its essence.”

Al-Jaadi emphasized that the STC and the people of the south will not allow these “parasitic elements” to thwart their aspirations or push them backward.
