Clear to partly cloudy skies forecast in several Yemen areas

SANAA, April 20 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning forecast clear to partly cloudy skies on Sunday in several Yemeni areas.

In its weather forecast for the next 24 hours, the center affirmed that the kight rains might fall on part of the provinces of Saada, Hajjah, Mahweet, Amran, Rayma, Ibb, Taiz, Sanaa, and Dhamar, with the formation of water mist and fog on the slopes of the western mountainous highlands.

The forecast indicated to winds would be moderate to brisk at times in speed in the southern part of the west coast, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, and the western Gulf of Aden.

It reported that desert areas would experience clear, warm weather during the day, with temperatures ranging between 36 and 39 degrees Celsius, with winds being light to moderate in speed.

The center renewed its warnings to citizens in areas where rainfall would be expected, warning them of flash floods in valleys and canyons.

It called on motorists to drive carefully on mountain roads as a result of reduced visibility, rain, low clouds, and fog, urging them to take caution and avoid crossing over ground bridges during the rains.
