SANAA, April 19 (YPA) – France’s Navy has acknowledged its involvement in defending the USS Harry S. Truman, a USS Vernon-class destroyer stationed in the northern Red Sea.
The French military’s “military operations” department posted a video in its post on X on Friday, showing the inability of the French frigate’s defense system to intercept a Yemeni drone heading toward its military target in the Red Sea.
Franc’s military operations claimed that the frigate was able to intercept the drone coming from Yemen.
Sanaa-based armed forces have continued to prevent Israeli commercial ships from passing through the Red Sea in response to the Zionist aggression and blockade on the Gaza Strip. They also target American warships stationed in the northern Red Sea and the Arabian Sea in response to the American aggression against Yemen.
