Zionist entity’s espionage activities in Yemen’s Socotra revealed

SOCOTRA, April 18 (YPA) – Media sources have revealed suspicious movements by foreign tourists inside residential neighborhoods in the city of Hadibo, the center of the Socotra Archipelago, which is under the control of the UAE forces, east of the Gulf of Aden.

The sources confirmed that several tourists holding American citizenship are roaming various residential neighborhoods, documenting homes in a provocative and suspicious manner, in a blatant violation of residents’ privacy.

According to the sources, one of the tourists was wearing a necklace bearing the “Zionist entity” logo, which raised suspicions about his true identity and the hidden objectives behind the UAE’s tourist convoy to Socotra.

They indicated that a Socotri resident confronted the tourist, inquiring about his identity and the reason for his presence in the neighborhood without a tour guide, according to what was reported by southern media outlets loyal to the Saudi-led coalition.

The sources stated that the tourist, who holds American citizenship, came to Socotra through a tourism agency run by the Emirati, Khalfan Al Mazrouei, accompanied by local guides who are loyal to him.

The residents of the residential neighborhood gathered to protest these practices before a local tour guide appeared to hastily escort the tourist from the area under the pretext of “ecotourism.”

The sources blamed the Emirati agencies for these repeated violations, amid questions about the role of the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, which claims “legitimacy” in these areas, and the violation of citizens’ rights and privacy following the UAE’s establishment of military bases and maritime surveillance centers on Socotra and Abd al-Kuri Island, leading to the Gulf of Aden and the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
